HARD FROST ON THE FOREST

There was a hard frost last night and, again, the temperature today barely rose above freezing. I walked on the forest this afternoon which is high and the frost had been even harder. The trees were completely covered in white even in the middle of the day. There was also a bitter wind.

This is the burnt gorse that I photographed the other day, now covered in frosty gloves.

  1. So so pretty, and love how delicate the details look in these. Despite the chills and greyness of the season, seeing captures like this makes me yearn (just a bit) for more wintery wonderland days :)

  2. these are absolutely lovely, really beautiful shots, I love the first one especially. We are so cold here in the house! wish it would warm up a little bit although the sun did come out for the first time this afternoon.
