Twisted Wire

250mm f/32 1/15  ISO400
I've decided to start recording some of the EXIF data with my images in future so I can look back through my posts and see what I've been doing. Also, some kind reader out there may care to comment and suggest alternative ways of doing things which will vastly contribute to my learning curve.

  1. I got lost reading your exif data, can you simplify it to say for example F2.8 50mm ISO 250 1/250, I couldn't work out what your iso was but maybe I am being really thick.

  2. Angie, I actually like this the way it is. What I might try with it though, would be to use a wider opening (f), to totally blur out the background (if that's what you want to do). Be doing this, you would also be able to use a slightly faster shutter. Love barbed wire shots, and this one is great!

  3. Angie - re: clean white background.
On a tip from someone else, I just began using white poster board or fiber board. About $2.00 a piece. What's especially nice about this is if you like to use textures, I find they are much easier to work with when you have a "clean" background, but I'm pretty new to textures, so... Let me know if you try the poster board! Have a wonderful day, and thank you for the visit!

  4. Love it just the way it is. :) If you decide to try the board background be careful, I don't like how the fibers show up is get the background too close to my subject. :)
